I hike, I blog

tom's hiking faceTwo-Heel Drive is a blog for hikers, campers, backpackers and nature cravers in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. Need someplace to go? I've hiked all the best Bay Area trails: check out my favorite hikes or read the park profiles I wrote for the San Jose Mercury News.

What I’m up to this morning

I figured out awhile back that the paper’s posting only about six weeks’ worth of my hiking columns, so I’m building an archive of them here instead. They’re in the rail under “local park profiles.”

These are the ones I’ve done so far:

| Alum Rock Park

| Henry W. Coe State Park

| Mount Diablo State Park

| Mount Madonna County Park

Take a gander and see what you think… comments welcome as always.

I take it you don’t have any IP/Copyright issues with the original publisher for posting them here? It’s great to have these as a persistent resource.

I wrote them as a free-lancer for the Mercury News and retain the copyright.
