Cool tool: PictoBrowser

It allows creation of photo slide shows from Flickr pictures. For instance, here’s an album of wildflower pics I created the other day:

Here’s my Carrizo Plain album:

Nifty, eh?

A gallery is not a “slideshow.”

    who says?

Since you can click on the picture and it’ll take you to the next one, that makes it a slideshow from my point of view too.

I’ve been using pictobrowser to serve my flickr photos to my website for a while now, pretty good isnt it? And so simple. Wish it was resizable, but I’m not going to grumble since they’re giving away their hard work for free.

Stuart: I believe there’s a setting to scale your pictures to fit the frame. Haven’t tried it though. You can make the frame any size you want, but I’m guessing you knew that part.

I made my blog’s main text window the same width as Flickr’s medium picture size, so i don’t have to worry about that.

    Hello Stuart,

You can use the PictoBrowser Builder to customize sizes, colors and other features from PictoBrowser. Here’s the link: http://www.db798.com/pictobrowser/builder.php
