The battleship wars were a hoot.. a bunch of boys of the perfect age -- say 10 or 11 -- were next to me hooting and hollering the whole way. I was there Sat for almost 12 hrs! We tried to see everything, but of course we didn't. I think it might be worth going at least once. Since my husband was an exhibitor "Western Combat Boat Club" he gave me 2 FREE passes (adults are $25 or $5 less if booked in advance online). FREE shuttle available from Caltrain & Franklin Templeton parking lot, otherwise $7 or $8.
