Get this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It has since emerged that two of the group members were offered and accepted water from instructors on the trek. Buschow was not given the option.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nThe school said that by signing a waiver, &#8220;Mr Buschow expressly assumed the risk of serious injury or death prior to participating.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Waivers are shredder bait  if there&#8217;s negligence involved.<\/p>\n<p><P>Dan Mitchell also has a<a href=\"http:\/\/outside.danmitchell.org\/2007\/05\/08#a3008\"> telling post on the subject. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><P>It&#8217;s interesting to me that the hike in question was only about six miles &#8212; but to do it in the hot sun without water is beyond stupidity.
