Also, extra credit for digging up an old Grand Funk Railroad song as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.backpackingvideos.com\/saltcreekcanyon.htm\">soundtrack for a Canyonlands camping trip<\/a>.  (Confession: I used to work with a guy who knew &#8220;Sweet Sweet Connie&#8221; from &#8220;We&#8217;re American Band.&#8221;  Had the whole show, he used to say.)<\/p>\n<p><P>Speaking of Canyonlands,  Rick at Best Hikes endorses <a href=\"http:\/\/besthike.com\/blog\/2007\/05\/30\/best-hikes-arches-and-canyonlands-utah\/\">pretty much all the hikes out of Moab. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><P>(Props to <a href=\"http:\/\/cutter.wordpress.com\/2007\/05\/29\/it-was-bound-to-happen-sooner-or-later\/\">Cutter<\/a>, who scooped me by two days on this one.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>His new site is called backpackingvideos.com and it already has a few nifty videos posted.
