While plane wrecks are rare enough to discourage getting carried away with this,  car wreckage seems far more common along the Bay Area trails.<\/p>\n<p><P>Here&#8217;s one from a few months back:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/busybeingborn\/487333801\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/174\/487333801_0cc369e70c.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Lost Bug\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><P>This dead Beetle is along the Saratoga Gap Trail near Skyline Boulevard in the Santa Cruz mountains.<\/p>\n<p><P>Here&#8217;s an old dead truck at Grant County Park:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/busybeingborn\/953644795\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1254\/953644795_fd00c93936.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"And old dead truck\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<P><\/p>\n<p><P>These make me wonder: where have the rest of you seen discarded cars in the countryside?<br \/>\n<P>Many of the parks have old mining and logging gear, but a car left in the woods seems to have a story all its own.
