The barely standing old shack along the Tarwarter Loop at Pescadero Creek County Park was another of those little pleasures of hiking: seeing another generation&#8217;s leftovers. <\/p>\n<p>Some of the ruins are straightforward: The cemetery at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tommangan.net\/twoheeldrive\/index.php\/2008\/01\/22\/latest-hike-black-diamond-mines-regional-preserve\/\" title=\"read about my hike at Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve\">Black Diamond Mines<\/a> springs to mind.  Others are a mystery, like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tommangan.net\/twoheeldrive\/index.php\/2007\/07\/17\/stone-walls-at-ed-levin-county-park\/\" title=\"See my post on the Ed Levin Stone Walls Mystery\">rock walls at Ed Levin County Park<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>So, what are your favorite vestiges of human folly on trails around the Bay Area?
