The most recent post is a gem: he <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baoutdoors.com\/2008\/10\/clouds-rest-heroic-acheivement.html\">goes to Cloud&#8217;s Rest at Yosemite<\/a> and finds a bunch of folks have rigged a one-wheeled contraption to take a paraplegic to the famed Yosemite Valley overlook.  <\/p>\n<p>So far most of his posts have been Sierra-centric, though he does have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baoutdoors.com\/2008\/08\/where-to-go-what-to-do.html\">one post<\/a> full of GPS\/Google maps for hikes at Bay Area faves like<a href=\"http:\/\/bp2.trimbleoutdoors.com\/ViewTrip.aspx?tripId=51200\"> Big Basin <\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/bp2.trimbleoutdoors.com\/ViewTrip.aspx?tripId=51227\">Point Reyes.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nice posts and pretty pictures abound.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dave Miller has been sending GPS\/Google maps of his Northern California hikes to Backpacker magazine for some time, but his blog has been around only since July &#8217;08.
