John sent me an e-mail yesterday with a link to an awesome online gadget he cooked up: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fedak.net\/virtual\/Ventana.php\">Virtual Ventana<\/a> &#8212; which uses Google Earth technology to create an interactive terrain map of the Ventana Wilderness, a vast, hilly section of California down by Big Sur. He&#8217;s got it set up so that when you click on little dots on the map, his pictures and and traiil descriptions appear.   Nifty.<br \/>\n<P>If John isn&#8217;t careful, we might draft him to show us around Ventana before summer hits and the place turns into a furnace.
