{"id":636,"date":"2006-09-01T16:05:39","date_gmt":"2006-09-01T21:05:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tommangan.net\/twoheeldrive\/?p=636"},"modified":"2006-09-01T16:05:39","modified_gmt":"2006-09-01T21:05:39","slug":"blogger-meet-up-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tommangan.net\/twoheeldrive\/index.php\/2006\/09\/01\/blogger-meet-up-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Blogger meet-up update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ClimbCA, the GoBlog host, and I have been swapping e-mails and attending to initial logistics of what he&#8217;s caling the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getoutdoors.com\/goblog\/index.php?\/archives\/942-1st-Annual-Outdoor-Blogger-Ho-Down.html\">First Annual Outdoor Blogger Ho Down. <\/a> Not that there&#8217;ll be any ho&#8217;s, though we may be staying at a place called Horse Camp.<\/p>\n<p><P>This much we know for sure: It&#8217;s the weekend of Oct. 6-8 (Friday the 6th was added as a travel day).  Current thought is to hike a couple miles to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sierraclub.org\/foundation\/horse_camp\/\">Horse Camp<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/mtshastachamber.com\/visitor\/recreation\/hiking.php\">Mt. Shasta Wilderness. <\/a>  Camping is limited to 10 people per group; the Sierra Club rents campsites at Horse Camp for $5 a night.<\/p>\n<p><P>I&#8217;ll be out of town for the holiday weekend but we&#8217;ll have more to report next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ClimbCA, the GoBlog host, and I have been swapping e-mails and attending to initial logistics of what he&#8217;s caling the First Annual Outdoor Blogger Ho Down.
