The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trailcast.org\/archives\/20\">most recent one <\/a>is with Andrew Skurka, who hiked for over 7,000 miles around the United States in 399 days. Skurka was already a longdistance runner, which gave him the stamina to log 30-40 mile days, and to snowshoe across 1400 miles of trails in the northern states.
