To wit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/besthike.com\/blog\/?p=470\">The World&#8217;s Most Dangerous Tourist Route<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/besthike.com\/blog\/?p=437\">Fast vs. slow hiking in a group. <\/a><\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/besthike.com\/blog\/?p=453\">Paria, the best canyon hike in the world. <\/a><\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/besthike.com\/blog\/?p=433\">Hiking the Wave.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rick&#8217;s life is essentially a collection of now-and-again odd jobs (he recruits Cirque du Soleil acrobats, among other things) that pay for his now-and-again world travels.  In a Douglas Adams book he&#8217;d be a researcher for the Hitchhiker&#8217;s Guide to the Galaxy.<br \/>\n<P>Let&#8217;s see, what else. Oh, yeah:<\/p>\n<p><P><a href=\"http:\/\/scoutmaster.typepad.com\/my_weblog\/2006\/11\/essential_knot_.html\">Scoutmaster<\/a> recommends  essential books of knots.  (I think there should be a blog devoted only to knots &#8212; think of the money  you could make catering to the bondage crowd).<br \/>\n<P><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ogeblog.com\/416\/30-on-the-north-face-closeouts\/\">OGE Outdoor Blog<\/a> notes a big 30 percent off North Face clearance sale.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sportsgeezer.com\/sportsgeezer\/2006\/11\/gym_institutes_.html\">Sports Geezer <\/a>reports that one gym is instituting a no-grunting policy.<br \/>\n<P><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parents.com\/parents\/story.jhtml;jsessionid=GK5GXRWOXQKFLQFIBQNSCZQ?storyid=\/templatedata\/parents\/story\/data\/1151004274249.xml\">Parents magazine<\/a> offers tips on taking your kids on a nature walk.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nA nature walk also gives kids a wonderful opportunity to sharpen their senses.
