Jeff<\/a> has hiked John Muir Trail and the Appalachian trail, raising money\/awareness for good causes and putting in trail miles and bag nights that would put most of us to shame. Mind you he’s trying to make a go of earning a living as a motivational speaker, so there’s ample shame going around (sorry, after Tom Cruise’s priceless “Seduce and Destroy” guy I’ll never look at the trade the same way again).<\/p>\n

Jeff has written two books, one about how his his brother-in-law’s suicide motivated <\/a>him to take his wife along for the JMT jaunt, and the other about walking the AT to raise money<\/a> for the home that cares for his brother, who has cerebral palsy.<\/p>\n
