Hiking with llamas at Redwood Regional Park

A local blog called Today in Montclair, 94611, points to an interesting outing at Redwood Regional Park.

Llama packers will guide the 4-6 mile hikes, held from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. According to the packers, “you will have the opportunity to lead a llama while learning about handling, caring for, and packing with llamas.”

    November 2008 Update: The llamas are returning, for treks on November 1st, 15th or 16th. It costs $35/resident or $39/non-resident. Call ahead and sign up.
