Rick at Besthikes.com posted a bunch of cool pix from his Tasmanian adventure last week, and this week he came as close as humanly possible to saying “Tom, when the hell are you going to send some linkage my way? It’s not like you went to Tasmania” without actually posting it on his blog — noting today that he spends 88 percent of his RSS feed time reading Two-Heel Drive and declaring these environs the “hub of the hiking blogosphere.”

Whether the world needs a hiking blogosphere is somebody else’s problem, but anyway: here’s a link to Rick’s post about bagging some picturesque Tasmanian peaks, and here’s his post describing the island’s Overland Track. Sounds like an excellent outing. Be sure to click on Rick’s Flickr photosets, which include many more cool images.
